A Maine artist, Lisa has lived and studied in major metropolitan areas. In addition, she has explored the performing arts as dancer, musician and performance artist. She has been working for the past year on her recent body of work, which utilizes plaster on board as her "canvas".  Her work has been selected for publication in the 2002, 2004 and 2007 editions of Words & Images, a national compendium of literary and visual art.  Her paintings and photographs were chosen in March of 2003 as part of a Group Show (The Musik Show) in Austin, TXduring the South by South West Festival.  She also received Special Recognition  for her piece “Wings Over Water” in an Internationally Juried Show in Omaha, NEin the Spring of 2001. She has shown extensively in Portland galleries and venues and presently has a studio in her home on the East End of Portland, ME.
